Who makes MoodSync
MoodSync is made by one person — I go by Poty here. I live with bipolar disorder, and I built the tracker I kept failing to find: one with the clinical severity scales my psychiatrist actually asks about, sleep and meds next to mood instead of in three different apps, and nothing that requires an account or a server.
I write under a pseudonym for the same reason MoodSync stores your entries on your device: a mental-health diagnosis is private. The lived experience is real, and it shapes what gets built — the Apple Watch app exists because the days I most needed to log were the days opening a phone app felt impossible.
How the writing is made
Every guide on this site is written and researched by me, cites primary sources (peer-reviewed papers, NIMH, Apple documentation), and follows the standards on the editorial policypage. I am not a clinician, and nothing here is medical advice — the guides help you track and describe what is happening so the conversation with your care team gets sharper.
The company
MoodSync is published by PotyLabs. You can reach the person who builds the app — not a support queue — at contact@potylabs.com, or vote on what gets built next at the public feedback board.
